Melody Smith, SLP, Gets Married
Our sister and SLP extraordinaire Melody Smith got married on December 23rd in McKinney, Texas, to her long-time boyfriend, Guillermo. If you all make it to the happy hours, then you know Melody and Guillermo (you know it is hard to keep those speechers away from Stambusher happy hour). Just to make sure Guillermo’s family does not miss their baby boy getting married, they will have another wedding ceremony in Mexico on the 28th of this month. CONGRATULATIONS to Melody and Guillermo! We all wish you all the very best.
Happy Hour on January 12th

Will Susan Stambush, PT, ever be there? Susan does not usually come to Happy Hour because that is Sassy’s (our daughter) hip hop class night. If any of you ladies (no man could endure it) want to drive to Sugar Land and sit on a metal bench and watch a bunch of 8-9 year old girls practice hip hop dancing, I am sure Susan would love for you to take her place so she can go to the Stambush happy hour.
Beware of "Pending CEU Approval"
Last year, Susan Stambush, PT took a class that said “PENDING CEU APPROVAL.” Well the course was approved, but not for the hours they advertised. This caused Susan a whole lot of stress when she found out because she had to hurry up and take some more CEU courses to make up for the other course’s deficiencies – otherwise, her license would have been in jeopardy. Moral of the story: you're probably better off not relying on any CEU class that says approval is pending. Sad to say, it is probably a good idea to call the board and ask just to make sure the CEU company’s advertising what you think it is advertising. And please remember to keep all proof of your CEU courses. For the record, Susan does not recommend Advanced Health Education Center.
2012
As 2012 gets underway, I would just like to remind everyone that we still have to keep working hard, being nice, being helpful, and being humble even though we are the best agency with the best people. We want to be loved so we need to be lovable. That is just the way we are anyway, but a reminder every once in a while never hurts.
